Genesislab will participate in the International Hospital and Medical Industry Fair (KHF 2023) held September 14-16 at Seoul COEX, showcasing DrListen, its mental health self-assessment app.
DrListen was developed in collaboration with psychiatrists from Seoul National University Hospital’s psychiatry department. The app enables users to easily monitor and manage their own mental health and that of family members on mobile devices. It supports self-assessment for major mood disorders including depression and bipolar disorder, as well as anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, and adjustment disorder.
For users requiring ongoing care and treatment, the app provides information on approximately 2,000 institutions nationwide, including mental health centers, psychological counseling centers, suicide prevention centers, and psychiatric hospitals and clinics.
CEO Lee Young-bok noted that Ministry of Health and Welfare statistics show approximately 2.8 adults in every 10 experience mental illness during their lifetime, emphasizing that consistent self-monitoring serves as a foundation for prevention.
