Genesislab has completed the first major update to DrListen, its mental health self-assessment app. The update expands the range of self-assessable conditions and adds functionality to connect users with specialized care institutions based on their assessment results.
Developed in partnership with Seoul National University Hospital’s psychiatry department, DrListen enables users to monitor and manage their own mental health and that of family members. The update enhances existing depression and bipolar disorder assessment algorithms while extending the app’s scope to include anxiety disorders (panic disorder, agoraphobia, social phobia), post-traumatic stress disorder, and adjustment disorder.
A newly integrated mental health facility map displays information for approximately 2,000 institutions nationwide (mental health centers, psychological counseling centers, suicide prevention centers, hospitals, and clinics) based on the user’s location. A help call feature directly connects users to specialized services for suicide prevention and youth counseling.
The app is available on App Store and Google Play, with the first 4 uses free. Genesislab plans to add obsessive-compulsive disorder and sleep-wake disorder assessment features during the second half of the year.
