Following the Ministry of Science and ICT’s selection of Genesislab as the venue for an AI ethics and trustworthiness roundtable, subsequent coverage examined the company itself. The centerpiece was the company’s provision of the AI video interview solution “ViewinterHR” and its status as the first Korean company to pass the TTA (Korea Telecommunications Technology Association) AI trustworthiness evaluation.
Remarks from CEO Lee Young-bok were also featured. He stated that AI interviewers introduce less bias than human interviewers, avoid being influenced by daily condition, and the company has developed technology capable of explaining evaluation results.
The coverage also highlighted policy collaboration efforts. Genesislab is proceeding with KISDI to develop an AI self-assessment checklist for the hiring sector. This checklist serves as a developer reference guide for examining trustworthiness and ethics requirements during AI development stages.
