Genesislab is extending the scope of its AI video-interview solution ViewinterHR from candidate screening into internal employee assessment, bringing hiring-stage AI into the review cycles that happen after people are already on the job.
Since its 2017 founding, ViewinterHR has been adopted by around 250 Korean enterprises and public institutions as a recruitment tool. The product was the first in the Korean market to introduce ‘hard-skill AI assessment,’ and it has since added AI-based resume screening.
The company’s framing for the extension is pragmatic rather than promotional: evaluator bias, subjectivity, and inconsistency have been open problems in performance reviews for decades, and AI-based analysis gives HR teams a way to narrow those gaps.
