Hankyung Business published a firsthand account of testing Genesislab’s AI interview solution ViewinterHR. The journalist, who took the test unprepared, received a grade of C.
The interview consisted of one personal introduction question and six scenarios structured around situation, behavior, and result, totaling 25 questions. The experience included a moment where ViewinterHR detected and flagged a cheating attempt when the journalist tried to take a screenshot, causing the interview to pause.
Evaluation criteria are organized around two dimensions: soft skills such as composure, logical reasoning, and confidence, and behavioral event interview (BEI) competencies such as digital thinking and leadership. Genesislab explains that the interview questions and evaluation criteria algorithms vary by organization. While background and clothing are not evaluation criteria, the account noted that such visual elements can still make an impression when hiring managers review the video.
The reporting also highlighted concerns about verifying the trustworthiness and fairness of AI hiring. Experts view AI not as a tool to replace human judgment, but as a complement to human decision-making.
