Genesislab has begun signing creators on its AI fandom platform Zuicy to agreements covering “exclusive licensing of copyright and assignment of derivative-work rights.”
Zuicy is a platform that delivers interactive video content, reading users’ head movement, gaze, facial expressions, and voice in real time. A recent addition called AI Talk learns a creator’s speech patterns, personality, and content world — and then gives fans a conversation that feels like talking with the actual creator. Because the feature turns creator IP into AI output, a copyright agreement structure is needed underneath it.
Genesislab positions the arrangement as the first creator IP protection framework of its kind in the industry. The goal: keep creator rights intact while giving fans a dependable AI-chat experience.
The full contract structure and an update on Zuicy’s activity are available in the original article.
